FEMA Concentration Camps: Locations and Executive Orders - Friends of Liberty (undated) 3sep04

Scary. I mean, if you beleive the conspiracies of the X-Files, FEMA is the secret government, waiting for the president to declare a state of emergency (which, according to this article, can be for any number of reasons and non-reasons). that is when FEMA, the secret government will spring into shady action. Well apparently all of this behind the scenes action is already in motion. The closing of army bases, the revamping of old installations, the models of Abu Grahaib and Guantanamo are working models, not stagnant. By pressing the edge of civil liberties there they can learn how to better curb the outcriues when it happens within our borders. I mean, is it such a leap? We have been primed, now we're ready for all hell to break loose.

CNN.com - Bush pushes his energy policy - Apr 16, 2005

No surprise, but I smell an inside job. Say your the former and probable future chairman or board member of an oil or coal or natural gas company. Now you know that you, i mean, your company, can make a fortune, even a quadruple fortune, if the cost of your product escalates seamingly uncontrolably. So you sit back and let it happen. You know that this will make people unhappy and eventually angry, you also know that you have weeks, maybe months, before the problem gets too in your face. Of course i am talking about gasoline and of course i mean bushie and cheney and co. Now, you ask, what could possibly be there underlying reasons for doing such a thing? (besides the OBVIOUS $$$!) Its so that they can slam through legislation of course! Like there energy bill, that old clunky corporate gove away thats been held up since, umm, the stone age. I guess the couldnt get people scared wnough about terrorism to vote for drilling in Alaska (SUV drivers be damned) so they needed a knew stimulus. Of course, telling the American people that Alaskan oil would help reduce prices (even though the majority of ALaskan oil already goes to Japan instead of us because they pay more) is like saying the private/personal/$ for wall street accounts will help save social security. They are both WRONG! Its not ust fuzzy math or science, its fraud!

Editor's Cut - The Nation

The power and deceptiveness of words as politics. This article reminds me of that new Law and Order show, which portrays the defense as very sly and routinely practicing their speeches and defense itself on practice juries. This ide of trying out words and ideas before hand is so sneeky to me. The fact that our elected leaders and over-priced defense attorneys spend millions to sex-up their policies and defenses. The plot sickens.
